About the research group

The research group was established in 2007 when the Austrian Jubiläumsfonds funded our first project, Sabine Amon PhD completed her dissertation in the project and the collaboration with an EU group is active till today. In 2017 following a conference in Prato Dr Paula Fernandez Arias from Monash University, filicide hub, joined our group and we were able to publish some seminal publications in the field.

More recently our focus shifted to the prevention of neonaticide and anonymous birth, Anna Felnhofer PhD postdoc took the lead on several research projects in the field, supported our diploma students and published the results. Stephanie Galliez, matrisé joined our group and works on our website and illustratesinformation material. Jenny Kernreiter completed her dissertation within the anonymous birth research field.
